broke my brain last year, and I was 'only' born in '84.

- I'm not the much older but it's weird for me to think of anyone who was born in the 90s being an adult.

- There was a moment yesterday where I did bring up to my boss that I was not alive in the eighties. She kind of just had this look on her face. It was the most perfect "WHAAAAAAAT" look I have ever seen.
- At the time, I had a friend who gave birth a few days after 9/11. I remember looking at the baby and realizing all of it would only be a story to him.
- I was born in '82. My little brother was born in '96, nearly fourteen years to the day after me.
I grew up with the original Star Wars. He grew up with the prequels.
I was a sophomore in college on 9/11. He was starting Kindergarten. He doesn't really remember a time before 9/11, and I remember the fall of the Berlin Wall.
I would feel more horrified by this comic except that I've face this weird age gap ever since he was born.
- No, what's scarier is that you can have this conversation with kids who were born after the turn of the millenium. People who never knew what it was like to start a date with 19. It boggles my mind.
- I was feeling a little old, until I realized that my LiveJournal is also older than the kid in this comic, and was started 6 months before 9/11.
Now I feel really, really old.
