- Everyone born in 1990 are now legal adults. (18+)
That
broke my brain last year, and I was 'only' born in '84.
- Hell, I was born in late '89 and that freaks me out. Ugh.
- I'm not the much older but it's weird for me to think of anyone who was born in the 90s being an adult.
(Hell, it's weird for me to think of myself as an adult, lol)
- My sister was born in 1990. She was able to vote in the election last year. WHY, GOD, WHY? WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS? WE HAD A DEAL! LET THE OTHERS GROW OLD, NOT ME! ::sobs::
- This terrifies me every time I go into a convenience store and see the "You must have been born in 1991 to buy cigarettes" sign.
читать дальше- My daughter is in the graduating class of 2027. That doesn't sound like a year, it sounds like a sci-fi setting.
- Hey, mine, too! And ditto. Oh, God.
ETA: Oh, NM. I just redid the math. 2027 is when she's going to be my age. ::cries::
- Hell, 2010 barely sounds like a year, but it's sure creeping up on us.
- I'm 24, and I like to remind my coworker/supervisor that I was born 4 months and 5 days after she started working at the company. For some reason, she doesn't like it when I point this out.
- Kids born after 1995 are dating each other.
- AND GETTING PREGNANT. WTFFFFFFF?!
- There was a moment yesterday where I did bring up to my boss that I was not alive in the eighties. She kind of just had this look on her face. It was the most perfect "WHAAAAAAAT" look I have ever seen.
- At the time, I had a friend who gave birth a few days after 9/11. I remember looking at the baby and realizing all of it would only be a story to him.
- I was born in '82. My little brother was born in '96, nearly fourteen years to the day after me.
I grew up with the original Star Wars. He grew up with the prequels.
I was a sophomore in college on 9/11. He was starting Kindergarten. He doesn't really remember a time before 9/11, and I remember the fall of the Berlin Wall.
I would feel more horrified by this comic except that I've face this weird age gap ever since he was born.
- No, what's scarier is that you can have this conversation with kids who were born after the turn of the millenium. People who never knew what it was like to start a date with 19. It boggles my mind.
- I was feeling a little old, until I realized that my LiveJournal is also older than the kid in this comic, and was started 6 months before 9/11.
Now I feel really, really old.
- I was reading my Web Development text book, and found this line:
"The term client/server dates from the last millenium (the 1980s)..."
I was born in the '80s. I felt ancient reading that.
Gullvage ...и так каждый год
